New Leaf Research LLC launched in 2011 with the purpose of providing high-caliber, customized qualitative market research services to pharmaceutical and healthcare clients.
With that goal in mind, Jan is involved with every aspect of qualitative project management -- from drafting research documents to delivering the final presentation. Her intimate knowledge of each project paired with her understanding of clients’ key business challenges, yields excellent results and happy, loyal clients.

Jan is dedicated to uncovering answers to her clients’ marketing questions via a style that is often described as approachable, versatile, polished and insightful. Quick to establish rapport with respondents, she fosters an interview environment that is affable and professional. With a high level of enthusiasm, she works to weave in appropriate areas of probing while anticipating questions that are top of mind for the client.
Equally notable is her backroom style; she is both receptive to client feedback, as well as nimble in her implementation of new or revised lines of questioning, a trait that is particularly valued in small qualitative sample sizes.
Jan’s therapeutic knowledge spans many categories and is constantly growing.
She has experience working in markets across the U.S. and globally.
She is an expert with virtual qualitative research, equally comfortable in front of a web cam in her home office or being viewed behind double-paned glass in a market research facility.
Jan is a RIVA-trained moderator and has a B.S. in Finance from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
